     the basket.
Leader:In distress you called and I rescued you;
People:I answered you in the secret place of thunder.
All:You shall not bow down to a foreign god.  I am the Lord your God,
     who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Come, let us worship
     together!

*  OFFERTORY PRAYER     (In  Unison) 
      O God, we thank You for Your Son, who chose the path of suffering for the sake of the world.  Humble us by His example and point us to the path of obedience.  Accept our tithes and offerings and bless their giving and their receiving, and give us strength to follow our Lord’s commands, for we pray in His name.      Amen.
